The JKMF is continuously stocking a wardrobe with clothing spanning from infant sizes to adults for "Johnny's Closet," which is located in the Goryeb Children’s Hospital (GCH)/Valerie Fund Center in Morristown, NJ, where Johnny underwent treatment. The inspiration for this initiative came to Gayle Kinney after reflecting on their experiences at GCH and the Valerie Center, where Johnny's daily/weekly check-ups sometimes led to unexpected situations requiring a change of clothing for him or Gayle.  A change of clothing wasn’t always available, and if it was, the sizing wasn't always suitable.

Having personally faced the challenges of hospital appointments and stays, the Kinneys understand the importance of planning for the unexpected. "Johnny’s Closet" has proven invaluable at GCH and the Valerie Center, offering pediatric patients and their caregivers a supply of clothing for treatments, outpatient appointments, hospital stays, and any unexpected situations they may encounter. This innovative program has already made a positive impact on numerous patients and caregivers.

You can support this cause by making a monetary donation, which will be used to purchase clothing for "Johnny’s Closet." Alternatively, if you prefer to contribute by purchasing clothing, you can do so and have it delivered or dropped off to:

Johnny Kinney Memorial Foundation

136 Route 10, Unit 142

East Hanover NJ 07936

(Dropped off items must still be boxed or sealed and addressed as noted above.)

We are seeking clothing in sizes ranging from infant to adult, including items such as socks, underwear, leggings, sweatpants, joggers, t-shirts, undershirts, zip up hoodies, chemo port access shirts, pajama sets and more. (Zip up hoodies and button up cardigan items are greatly appreciated as most patients have accessed ports or IV lines.  Standard hoodies or sweatshirts are not ideal for these reasons.)

Your generosity will make a meaningful difference for those facing unexpected challenges during their hospital journeys. We express our gratitude in advance for your kindness and generosity!

Please note: Due to the nature of where the donations are going, we can only accept new clothing items.  Used clothing cannot be accepted or used.  We thank you for your understanding.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at info@jk42.org

With sincere gratitude and thanks,

The Johnny Kinney Memorial Foundation Family
